Twin Rivers United is officially preparing for our biggest step forward yet — entering both the UPSL Premier Division and UPSL Division 1 for the Spring 2026 campaign. As our club continues to grow, so do the expectations. This season, every training session, every match, and every player will represent the highest standard of competitive soccer in Southwest Florida.

We are looking for talented, motivated players who are ready to compete, develop, and represent OUR region and OUR community.

This is more than just making a roster — this is about finding the players who will fight for the badge and earn their place in the next chapter of TRU history.

Tryout Information

📍 Location: Charlotte High School

📌 1250 Cooper St., Punta Gorda, FL 33950

📅 Dates: January 17–18

⏱ Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Both days)

📋 Format: Two-day evaluation for roster placement

🎯 Teams:

• UPSL Premier Division

• UPSL Division 1

Players should attend both sessions to receive full evaluation for placement.

This honor recognizes the top performers across the entire region, and Djefely’s inclusion is a major milestone not only for him, but for our club, our community, and Southwest Florida soccer as a whole.

Djefely has been a driving force in our midfield all season long—

breaking up play, dictating the tempo, and stepping up in big moments when the team needed him most. His work rate, consistency, and composure on the ball have made him one of the most respected players in the division.

In our first year as a club, Twin Rivers United set out with a vision: to bring high-level
soccer to Charlotte County and to build something meaningful for our community. This
year, that vision came alive—through every match, every training session, every
volunteer’s effort, every sponsor’s support, and every voice in the stands.

This past weekend’s playoff match was everything our sport is meant to be—intense,
competitive, emotional, and filled with heart. After a hard-fought 1–1 draw through
regulation and extra time, the match came down to penalties, where we fell just short
against a very strong Academy of Central Florida side.

The result may not have gone our way, but what we witnessed on the field—and in the
stands—was proof of what makes this club so special.

A Community That Showed Up for Its Team
To our supporters: thank you. You stood with us in the heat, the rain, the long
weekends, and the biggest moments of our season. You cheered, you believed, and
you created an atmosphere that rivaled clubs far older and far larger than ours. You
made every home match a memory.
